Lanka Patisserie Enamel Charms

Lanka French Patisserie & Ceylon Tea near Swiss Cottage, north London is run by chef Masayuki Hara and specialises in homemade French patisserie and pure Ceylon teas. Masayuki bakes daily, 20-25 types of cakes from a selection of 60+ varieties. Lanka's aim is to create cakes that indulge the senses, are beautiful to look at and are a sensation for the tastebuds.

Originally from Japan, French cuisine chef Masayuki Hara came to London to work at the three-star Michelin restaurant 'La Gavroche' in the late 1980s.
After a variety of appointments at other Michelin star restaurants including 'Pru Leiths', 'Antony Worrall Thompson', 'Richard Corrigan' etc., he became head chef at 'Le Phenicien' and 'Cave at Caviar House' in Piccadilly. He started his own catering company 'Lanka Catering' in 2006, and opened it’s first cake shop and cafe 'Lanka' in Primrose Hill in February 2009. In February 2012, 'Lanka' opened it's second shop and cafe in Goldhurst Terrace, off Finchley Road.

In collaboration with designers Azumi and David, they have produced a range of colourful, enamelled cake charms, inspired by their most popular confections, which are available as keyrings, pin brooches and neck chained pendants. Each item comes packaged with a printed, illustrated information card, wrapped in a clear cellophane envelope.
